Thor: Love and Thunder is an upcoming American superhero film after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness. This movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The movie is scheduled to release on 8th June(U.S.A) , barely three months away but we havent got any teaser or trailer from marvel studios. However Chris Hemsworth , Taika Waititi & Tessa Thompson started the press tour indicating movie is not gonna be delayed and according to some sources trailer will release on 11th of April, 2022.
Coming back to the topic, top things we expect to see in thor 4 are:-
1. We will get to see more than one thor:-
Taika Waititi had already confirmed that we will get to see Jane Foster's Mighty Thor fighting side by side along with our God of Thunder but we might get to see more than 2 Thor. Post Avengers Endgame and in Spider Man : No Way Home , we saw that time travelling is possible in this universe and variants exists too. In the comics, 3 thors came together to defeat him ie. Young Thor , Current Thor , and Allfather Thor. So we can expect some more than 2 Thors here.
2. Christian Bale is God Butcher:-
Christian Bale is an amazing actor who also portrayed the role of Bruce Wayne in the Dark Knight Series directed by Christopher Nolan which is considered as the best batman trilogy and he is considered the best batman till date. But here, he is gonna play the role of Gorr, the God Butcher who was considered as one of the best villains in the comics of Thor. Though his arc was bit dramatic and emotional in comics, lets see how marvel plans to pull this off in the upcoming movie.
3. Russell Crowe is Zeus:-
Russell Crowe who played Jor-El in Man of Steel revealed that he is gonna play the role of Zeus, whos is none other than Greek God of Thunder. Maybe he would be used as a bait by marvel to show just how powerful Gorr really is. But the casting of Russell Crowe as a bait is highly doubtful. It might also work in the way that he forms alliance with Thor and will defeat Gorr. There might also be the possibility that he is playing the role of a variant of Thor. Afterall these are just theories. Zeus's Son Hercules who also has been part of the avengers might be introduced this way.
4. Mjionir is Back and Jane Foster is Mighty Thor:-
From the merchandise and concept arts it was implied, that old mjionir will be back and somehow will be put to use. Its gonna be interesting how they reuse it beacuse when we last saw mjionir it was crushed by Hella. So who fixed it? S.W.O.R.D? or maybe Doctor Strange? or Jane Foster herself? It remains a big question. Moving on to Mighty Thor , we know that Jane Foster is gonna take the title of Mighty Thor but if we take the our knowledge in the depth of comics , she was suffering from when she wielded the mjionir and her conditioned was worsening as she uses mjionir. So in the movie too we might get to see that she is been suffering from cancer after she absorbed aether into her body and this is how the role of mighty thor will come into her life.
5. There might be political issues in New Asgard:-
In one shot of Spider-Man:No Way Home we saw the london Bridge attack on tv and the news headline below flashing "Political Turmoil Continues in New Asgard as Z..." so for now we can assume that Z stands for Zeus and somehow this has to be done with vakyrie becoming the queen of Asgard. From the lego sets we might also see an action sequence in new asgard as some creature attacks asgard. So new Asgard will be playing a crucial role in the movie as in Thor 3:Ragnarok
6. Asgardians of the Galaxy?
Guardians of the Galaxy or Asgardians of the Galaxy will be reprising their role in Thor 4 and they might also help thor in the final battle as revelaed in lego sets and this movie will also setup for The Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Kraglin will also join the gaurdians and will use yaka arrow!
7. Thor will be Back
Thor is Back means he will not be the bro Thor in this movie. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely did him dirty in Avengers Endgame but from behind the scenes of thor 4 it is confirmed that savage Thor will be back and will have his time in Thor : Love and Thunder.
So this was about all we can expect in Thor Love and Thunder and it would be amazing if TVA's Loki joins the final battle of the movie. Taika Waititi has claimed that this movie is on the level of thor ragnarok but more crazier. He is also gonna reprise his role of Korg along with Matt Damon who is gonna reprise the role of actor loki and Jeff Goldblum is also reprising his role as grandmaster. So its gonna be amazing.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to premiere in theaters on July 8.
